Curriculum Intent

Our curriculum is driven by a need to give the children, at Newtown, an excellent education along with wonderful childhood experiences.  

We are very excited to share Newtown's new experiences overview which outlines the curriculum experiences that we offer to children throughout their time at Newtown. Each  experience supports and enhances the curriculum and our school values enabling children to be responsible citizens, successful learners and resilient individuals. 

Curriculum Celebrations Intent

At Newtown, it is our aim to guide children to become well-rounded by demonstrating our school values of successful learners, resilient individuals and responsible citizens. Through the curriculum celebrations, we are empowering children to be able to communicate and speak effectively in Standard English for a range of audiences and purposes. These skills will serve them well into their adulthood. This will also enable the children to better embed knowledge and skills learnt through the curriculum.
